A few nights ago I watched the sun go down and rise again while camping on top of the rim. Spectacular views carried a personal message from the creator. In the evening quacking aspens, night bird songsters and a trio of howling coyotes provided a perfect ending for a wonderful day. Your editor is a thrice-retired Chemical Engineer who spent half a career in Aerospace and the remainder in world wide Petrochemical Engineering and Construction. Presented on the history page is 370 years of the Wallen family history. Please visit wallen's history. As a serious observer of the passing scene, I am constantly appalled by the biased statements of politicians, spin doctors and media pundits. Through innuendo, distortion, improper context and a myriad other ways, these people are doing their best to fill the public's concept with their version of "Whats going on". On the Spin Doctor's page, we will take up some of the more glaring spin jobs and publish in this and future issues our perception of the incident. From time to time we will drop off old Spin Doctor items and add new ones as they occur. Go to: wallen's spin doctor On the Top Ten page, Perceptions will, with help from Hyperspace, create a list of 10 best things to change in our society in order to enhance life in America.
