Alaska Trip

Me and Doe on the Go

Ever since they built it in WWII, have had a hankering to drive up the Alaska Highway and here in my 83rd year I did it and I have a certificate to prove from the highways end whoop-de-do place in Delta Junction, Alaska.

In preparation for all this I had recently bought a 16 foot completely self contained Casita travel trailer. It would be tight, but two very compatible people could sleep in there. Its pretty neat with air-conditioning, a refrigerator, stove top, sink, shower and toilet facilities, heater, a modest amount of storage and an awning along one side.

I pulled it with my Trailblazer SUV and departed in mid May of 2007.
